What is a premix?

What does a vitamin premix do?
Vitamin premixes are used in feed formulations designed to meet animals' vitamin requirements, and they support balanced vitamin nutrition.
What is a mineral premix?
A mineral premix is a concentrated mineral blend that helps add specific minerals to animal feed in the right proportions.
What is the difference between a vitamin premix and a mineral premix?
A vitamin premix contains vitamin components, while a mineral premix contains trace minerals. Vitamin-mineral premixes combine both groups in a single product, which simplifies use at the feed mill.
What is a toxin binder?
Toxin binders are feed additives that can be considered in programmes for managing certain mycotoxins in feed. Their effectiveness depends on the product's composition and the conditions of use.
Why is bentonite used in animal feed?
Bentonite is a natural clay mineral, and bentonite products with suitable technical properties can be used in feed production for technological purposes such as pellet binding and flowability. Conditions of use should follow the product's technical specification and the applicable regulations.
Where is CTF Premix's production facility?
Our production facility is in Ankara, on a 10,000 m² site. Our head office is in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul.
How many countries do you export to?
Today CTF Premix exports premixes and feed additives from Türkiye to 23 countries.
Do you prepare custom premix formulations?
Yes. Together with our technical team we evaluate formulation options based on the target species, feeding stage, the raw materials you use and your nutrient targets.
Which quality certificates do you hold?
Our production is covered by an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS-25-1909-CTF) and GMP (GMP-25-1909-CTF), and we have a halal compliance declaration. You can review our documents on the Quality & certificates page.
How can I verify the batch of a product I received?
